1. Classic Dresses With Accents

Dimensionality or 3D florals, is something bridal designers have experimented with for several years, and this year it took on new life. Tulle daisies on skirts, floral sleeves, pearls and more. Bows are another way to elevate the elegant look. Bows on the back of the dress of all sizes, down the front of the dress and even on the train. Possibly one of the most unique trends this season, sheer layering was the way to go—sometimes with piles of frothy tulle that had an ethereal effect laying over a top of a simple dress shape to give it life. 

2. Color!

Designers have been playing with multicolor floral prints on white background for several years, but what feels fresh is the shift towards color as the background, specifically pastel blue and pale pink being the two most popular choices. Designers are also playing with infusing color into their embellishments, from the cascading tiers of a blue tulle train to carefully constructed blush blossoms. Probably the trend that stands out the most. 

3. Statement Sleeves

Off the shoulder dresses with sleeves make a statement. The two most popular sleeve designs were voluminous puff sleeves that make shoulders and collarbones appear dainty in comparison, and a more modern silhouette that starts with a little volume at the top, then tapers into a slim sleeve at the wrist.
