Welcome to the Blog

It’s hard to believe it has been 3 years since the grand opening of The Monroe on 415th! Time has truly flown by and we are so proud of the time, energy, effort, and love that has gone into making this business shine over the last 3 years.

We have hosted over 100 weddings, been a part of over 100 love stories, met over 100 vendor teams, and gotten to meet so many lovely couples looking to plan their dream wedding!! It is such an honor to get to be involved in our couple’s lives in this way. We are blessed to be able to serve our couples as the backdrop to the start of their marriage! Celebrating with our couples truly is our favorite thing to do!!

We have seen beautiful, fun, and unique weddings over the last year. Seeing the way each couple designs our space is always so inspiring! The addition of our black chapel last year has been great. We love to see our couples start their forever in spaces that mean so much to us!

Sarah, the owner alongside her husband Josh, reflects back on their favorite memory during the building process of the venue, “It always makes me so nostalgic! We quite literally did it with our own hands as a family. Josh and I drew up the design on grid paper–over many late nights, and never got real blueprints. Me designing and Josh building the stairs piece by piece, and so many more little details. Josh remembers finishing up the stairs with Aaron, who was just 3 at the time, and drinking chocolate milk! We truly had no idea what we were getting into but we had a dream and together we just dove in head first!”

Each year, The Monroe team has been blessed to grow in size! We have added some of the best team members to our staff and we couldn’t be more grateful to work alongside some of the greatest people. They are the heartbeat of The Monroe and the faces behind all the hard work that goes into hosting each wedding. We wouldn’t be anywhere without our Venue Maintenance Team, Linen Crew, Event Assistants, Wedding Coordinators, Operations Manager, Venue Manager, and Owners. Each of them play a vital role in making sure our couples have the best day ever!

It is amazing to see what has been able to prosper here over the last 3 years in the designing, building, and running The Monroe! This is proof that anything is possible with a dream rooted in faith, hard work, prayers, and a heart to serve.

The last year has brought the best memories of the sweetest weddings and fun times with The Monroe Team, we will forever cherish these memories! We are blessed to begin our fourth year of serving our couples and community! Cheers to The Monroe on 415th and many happy wedding celebrations to come!
